Connect Facebook Messenger

Bring your Facebook Page's Messenger conversations into Chatku through Meta's Messenger Platform.

What you need from Meta

1. A Facebook Page and a Meta app (create one at developers.facebook.com) with the Messenger product added.
2. From the Messenger settings, generate a Page Access Token for your Page.
3. Optionally grab your App Secret (App Settings → Basic) for webhook signature verification.

1. Create the channel

1. Open Settings → Channels → Add Channel → Facebook Messenger.
2. Fill in:
   • Page ID — your Facebook Page's numeric id
   • Page Access Token
   • App Secret (optional)
3. Save.

2. Register the webhook

After saving, Chatku shows a Callback URL and a Verify Token. In Meta:

1. Messenger → Settings → Webhooks → paste the Callback URL and Verify Token.
2. Click Verify and Save.
3. Subscribe your Page and tick the messages field.

3. Test

Message your Facebook Page from another account. It appears in Conversations; reply from Chatku and it goes back through Messenger.

Messenger has a 24-hour messaging window: once a customer messages you, you can reply freely for 24 hours. Outside that window you need an approved message tag.
