• Opening a conversation sets a soft lock in Redis (active:{id}) with a short TTL
• Everyone else sees an "Agent is viewing this" badge in real time
• Typing broadcasts a typing indicator so collisions are visible before they happen
• Short TTLs act as a safety net if a connection drops without a clean disconnect
