Changing Your Plan

You can move between plans whenever your needs change — no need to wait for the next billing cycle.

Upgrade or downgrade

1. Go to Subscriptions.
2. Click Change plan and pick the plan you want.
3. Review the preview, then confirm.

Upgrade and renew are separate actions, so your intent is never ambiguous — upgrading takes effect right away, while renewing simply extends your current plan.

How proration works

When you change mid-cycle, Chatku prorates the difference over the current 30-day cycle:

• You see a line-by-line preview of credits (for unused time) and charges (for the new plan) before you confirm.
• Proration is capped at a single period — no surprise back-charges.

Watch your limits when downgrading

Moving to a smaller plan may reduce your agent seats, channels, or AI allowance. If you're above the new limits, reduce usage first (for example, remove extra agents or channels) so the downgrade applies cleanly.

After the change

A new invoice reflects the adjusted amount, and your feature set updates immediately. See Understanding plans and limits for what each plan includes.
