Connect Slack as a Support Channel

Slack makes a surprisingly good support front-end for internal teams. Here's how to wire it up.

Steps

1. Create a Blank app at api.slack.com/apps
2. Add the bot scopes for messages and channels
3. Point Event Subscriptions at your Chatku webhook URL
4. Invite the bot to the channel you want to monitor

Important: leave Socket Mode OFF

Socket Mode delivers events over a WebSocket instead of your HTTP webhook — which means Chatku never receives them. Keep it disabled so events reach the webhook.

Once connected, both direct messages and channel posts flow into your inbox.
